Описание

Bit of a different Stage 1 today with this customer's car already having a hybrid turbo fitted to an otherwise stock car, wanting to get more power and improve the driving experience before changing emission devices.

With the factory downpipe in place, this restriction ultimately limits output but can be catered for with our RSS Custom ECU Software, leaving the customer to enjoy the intake sounds and exhaust sounds without having to modify the factory downpipe and ready to enjoy the full power potential of the hybrid turbo once a high-flow downpipe is installed and ECU software is optimised.

With that being said, the customer opted for the Milltek Non-Resonated Valved Exhaust System with Polished Silver tips. This system utilises the factory valve controllers for the same functionality as stock with the exhaust delivering an improvement in tone and volume with the tips improving the rear-end aesthetic.

The Racingline 4-Piece Intake replaces the restrictive factory parts, de-restricting the intake path fully and ensuring the turbo gets an uninhibited flow for maximum response and output. The Turbo Muffler Delete then replaces the factory muffler, unleashing more of those incredible turbo sounds!

To help keep charge temps consistently under control and to prepare for Stage 3 (high-flow downpipe & optimised software) the Wagner Tuning Intercooler is installed. This Intercooler has a much larger volume, improving the cooling the intercooler can do to help keep the ECU happy.

At the same time as the hardware installs, the DSG is serviced and the Haldex is serviced, including the gauze cleaning which is commonly missed.

With all the upgrades installed we hit the dyno to optimise the ECU software. The RSS Custom ECU Software optimises the fuelling, ignition, boost and many other maps inside the ECU for the combination of upgrades installed, improving power, torque and driveability. At the same time the RSS DSG Software is installed which optimises the DSG software for faster shifting, higher torque limits and higher clamping pressure for better performance with the higher output as well as a number of other features which improve the driving experience.
