Ford Zodiac Convertible is a model produced by the Lesney factory in 1957-1961. The cast of this car had a very delicate windshield frame that notoriously broke off. It was similar with the driver who fell out of the mounting hole and got lost after some time. My copy had both of these disadvantages. I made the frame of a metal clip, bending it in the right way with pliers and glued the whole thing on cyanoacrylate glue with the addition of baking powder. I made the driver from tin bought in a DIY store with the addition of copper. I cast everything in a mold from a casting silicone that can withstand temperatures up to 350 degrees Celcius. I was able to choose the perfect body color by mixing two acrylic paints with a white base. The culmination of the whole was a box made by me, consistent with the original.
