HMC sponsors the amateur club racing team 'TEAM HMC'. It has been going on for 4 years already. Through various motor sports activities, HMC is striving to foster domestic motor sports and expand the base.
HMC held the 'Hyundai Motors-TEAM HMC Sponsorship Agreement Ceremony' at Yeongdong-daero Autoway Tower in Seoul on May 26.
'TEAM HMC' is an amateur racing team composed of members of Hyundai Motor Club, a voluntary group created by customers who like HMC brand.
The 4th members of ’TEAM HMC' consisted of a total of 6 drivers, including Sang-guk Yang, a broadcaster who participated as a driver for 4 consecutive years, and Yoo-na Jeong, a newly joined model this year.
They are planning to participate in ‘Hyundai Veloster N Cup' and ‘Hyundai Avante Cup' at '2020 Hyundai N Festival' which will be held in June.
HMC will provide 'TEAM HMC' with a professional driving suit, a dedicated mechanic team for vehicle management, exclusive racing model, and other expenses related to the competition.
HMC will continue to support motor sports activities in various ways. HMC plans to make efforts to promote the domestic motor sports culture.
