In this tuning tutorial I show how to build and tune cars for speed (and often power) with the best approach for speed tracks. We cover how to choose engine swaps, which parts are more important (e.g. tyre compound VS tyre width), how to exploit the PI (performance index) system, and the biggest do's & don'ts of tuning camber, gearing, springs and differentials for speed cars with low handling/grip.
For an example, I show how to build, tune and test a 994hp Ford Mustang '65 in with top page B Class leaderboard times. Great car, completely underused with a speed build, so take these tips and tricks to improve any speed car, in any class. One subscriber tried these tips during the stream and slashed 2 seconds off their best leaderboard time, so I hope you all benefit from this guide with great improvements too.
