If you’re shopping for a new small SUV and are checking out Nissan’s numerous offerings, you may have noticed that there’s no 2021 Qashqai (Rogue Sport) as of yet. The reason is two-fold: There will be a 2021 model year vehicle, one that is absolutely unchanged from the 2020 Qashqai. And the all-new 2022 Qashqai will probably arrive sooner than later.

The Nissan Qashqai arrived in North America in 2017, coinciding with the 2nd-generation’s facelift. It quickly went on to find many buyers who were pleased with the small SUV’s design, utility, and technology. The SUV got a subsequent refresh for the 2020 model year and that will be its last.

On February 18th, the all-new 2022 Nissan Qashqai will premiere digitally. It will usher in a whole design that will mimic that of the new Rogue and soon-to-be-revealed Pathfinder. The cabin will be severely overhauled as well.

The new Qashqai will also feature Nissan’s e-Power powertrain technology which may very well make it one of the most-efficient small SUVs in the segment.
